Mena Alexandera is an American actress, model and designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. She began her modeling career in 1990 and soon moved into acting, after appearances as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. She had her first film role in the 1997 drama Nowhere. Following her appearance in American Beauty (for which she won an award from the BAFTA Award) and American Pie which attracted her greater attention, she began her transition into major parts. She has appeared with American Pie's co-star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the role of lead for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun the 2001 independent drama, as well as the Trauma, a (2004) thriller were both featured in her career. In HBO's drama series Six Feet Under.
