Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice Director of Verizon's Mobile Network. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father. He's director of a company on the internet and businessman. Born into the context of a Catholic family the child was raised in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Because of this, her parents put her into the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious school. The girl was a lover of music since she was an infant. She learned how to play the piano and at thirteen she wrote her first tune. She participated in an open mic night. Her most favored artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. Upon completing high-school and matriculating at the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she took music classes. But, following high school she decided to pursue a musical career and abandoned her study.
